Who is John Morin?
First and foremost John Morin is a husband to Jennifer for 17 years.

John is a Mahwah resident, business leader, and community advocate with more than 20 years of experience managing operations, budgets, and contracts across Building Service and Construction Industries. As Vice President of Operations at an SBE/WBE Building Maintenance Firm, John has built a reputation for delivering results—growing client relationships, controlling costs, and leading teams to perform efficiently and responsibly. In his current role as Vice President at a SBE/WBE General Construction Firm, he oversees business development, project management, and contract negotiations, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget.
John’s professional experience is grounded in real-world accountability—balancing budgets, negotiating fair agreements, and making decisions that directly impact people and outcomes. These are the same skills he believes are essential for effective local government.
Beyond his career, John has a strong record of community involvement. He serves as President of the Orchard Ridge of Mahwah Homeowners Association, where he leads budgeting, governance, and community decision-making. He has also served as Secretary of the Betsy Ross Public School Home School Organization, supporting local families and strengthening school-community connections.
John holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
John is currently enrolled at Seton Hall University of Law to obtain a Master's in Law Degree.
